NLA Has First San Diego County, CA Project Approved Under New Greenhouse Gas Regulations

On December 1, 2023, Net Lease Alliance received approval on the first project in San Diego County, CA under the county’s new greenhouse gas regulations. The new 2.89-acre commercial center will be subdivided into four parcels. A 2,660-square-foot drive-thru restaurant, a 7,385-square-foot automotive parts store, and a car wash will be constructed on three of the parcels. La Jolla, CA real estate developer OnPoint Development is the co-developer on the project.

The new County of San Diego’s Climate Action Plan (CAP) is a response to the climate emergency and outlines actions to meet California state targets and achieve a goal of net zero carbon emissions by 2045. The CAP and associated goals apply to the unincorporated areas of the county. Benefits of San Diego County’s CAP include preserving the environment, reducing health disparities, increasing access to green carriers, improving quality of life, and advancing environmental and social justice.

NLA is proud to lead the way in San Diego County’s vision of net zero emissions.
